F1 Clash is a mobile game created by Hutch Games and downloadable on the iOS Appstore and Google Playstore for mobile devices.
I was tasked with creating environments for the game. My main contributions included:
Home Screen Garage Environment: Modelling, Texturing and Integration into a Game Engine
Las Vegas Circuit: Creating skeleton track using CAD data. Managing an outsourcing company to create the circuit. Integration into Game Engine including creating a lighting setup.
Jeddah Corniche Circuit: Creating skeleton track using CAD data. Managing an outsourcing company to create the circuit. Integration into Game Engine including creating a lighting setup.
Interlagos Circuit: Modelling and Texturing Buildings (not pictured)
My responsibilities included:
- Modelling and texturing key buildings
- Finding and creating references for terrain, key track features, architecture, track furniture and advertising billboards.
- Creating splines for the track using CAD data provided by F1. Implementing track and pitlane splines to work within Unity within the F1 Clash game architecture.
- Adding a lighting set up and altering materials.
- Adding props such trees and pit-lane furniture.
- Adding spectators, flags, confetti fireworks and skidmarks to the track.
- Adding custom replay cameras
- Providing grey box assets for an outsourcing company to provide detailed models and textures for architecture and other track furniture.
- Providing feedback to outsourcing company.
